Adam was sadly taken from us without warning on 17th November 2020. His loss is made all the more difficult thanks to the happy memories we all have of him. He always gave his all in everything he did and with an infectious smile on his face. All who knew Adam referred to him as 'one of the good guys' and his love of his family and especially his kids was plain for all to see. His life was full and included as much as he could throw into it: Family activity holidays from the lake district, to Scotland to Canada. He always made sure the whole family got involved. Paddleboarding in the North Sea, although more time was spent trying to stay on the thing than anything else! Good job he also enjoyed doing a lot of swimming, both in the pool and the sea. Cycle rides up the Northumberland coast to spend time at the family caravan. Building a successful business based on trust, hard work and dedication so as to build a better life for his family. Many an hour on the golf course, determined to improve his game. Weekend trips away with the boys where his equal interest in the local museums as well as the bars is yet to be fully understood. Perhaps he was more cultural than we all realised! Supporting his beloved Sunderland football club and the local grass roots teams with his time and business sponsorship. He was even known to show off his own footballing skills to remind us all he still had a quick turn and a decent right foot. His love of music and going to live gigs. His love of reading, although that didn't lend itself too well to his own spelling skills. Much to his own and others amusement. Gaming nights with his friends. Cosy nights with his family. Whatever Adam did he did full of life and with his love of life and those around him. We all feel so grateful for the time we have had with him and will forever look back with a smile at those happy memories. Thank you all for being a part of his journey, no matter how large or small a part you played.
