Northumberland Six Peakes Challenge

Story

Adam loved walking in Northumberland and planning routes with his maps! So we thought what better way to remember him by completing this Challenge and raise a little cash and awareness for the Stroke Association. We will start our day at the beginning of the Harthope Valley, heading up to the trig point at Cold Law. We continue over both Broadhope Hill and Scald Hill, where we will enjoy stunning views of the Cheviot, the highest hill in Northumberland at 815 metres. Upon reaching the summit of the Cheviot, we head over Comb Fell and on to the summit of Hedgehope (the second highest hill in Northumberland). From here, we will be able to look back and reflect on the picturesque route we have taken and have a moment to remember Adam. We then descend down through Long Crags and arrive back at the start. Distance: 16 Miles Duration: 8 – 10 hours Difficulty: Challenging
