I will be running the Great North Run 2022 in memory of a very good friend Adam Bosher who passed away suddenly of a stroke in November 2020. A beautiful man who was devoted to his family and would help a friend out in a heartbeat, he is sorely missed. I also have 2 other very good friends who have suffered at the hands of this awful condition since then. The Stroke Association supports people to rebuild their lives after a stroke.
I am a beginner to running and have only ever ran 10k, so I will be taking it slow and running with Adam's wife Elaine and our good friends Amanda, and Julie , just praying we reach the finish line in one piece!
Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated, as this will not be a 'walk in the park' for me, but will be worth the blood, sweat and tears to help such a wonderful charity and in honour of such a wonderful man.
